  1. Well you are not alone, lots of people have this problem. Like before a big interview, etc.

Get everything you need for school organized early the night before so you don't have to worry about anything in the morning. Set out your clothes and you can even choose what you will have for breakfast if you like. that way your morning will be extremely predictable and easy. =No stress.

I know a professor in college that would throw up the morning before the first day of class every semester for over 30 years! He only admitted this to everyone at his retirement party. Pretty gross! Anyways, he couldn't help it and afterwards, he simply cleaned himself up and went out on stage and started teaching...just like that!

    Good luck!

  2. I know how you feel.  I'm going into 8th grade too, but I'm starting next Monday.  I have had trouble getting to sleep because I keep worrying about it.

But, here is something my health teacher taught me next year. Get a glass of water before you go to sleep.  When you go in your room, lay on your bed and slowly relax your whole body.

Just relax in dark for a while, and you will start getting tired.  And, don't worry about school!  Just remember, the first few days you don't have to do anything.

You can actually look forward to seeing all of your friends again.

  3. I know it isn't good to recommend taking a medication to kids, but taking Benadryl (allergy medication sold in your drugstore) is pretty safe and will make you drowsy and relax and sleep really good.  It is very safe for most everyone and many people use it as a sleeping aid (I have).  It usually wears off in 4 to 6 hours so that by morning it is out of your system. If you think you might want to use Benadryl, make sure you talk to your mom and see if she agrees with trying it. You may also want to try it a night before to see how it works and if it really does help you fall asleep and sleep better.

  4. Nope, even as an adult I still have that same problem when I'm excited or nervous about something. Go to bed a little early, read a book and just relax.

  5. it is just the nerves and excitement just relax and ask god for peace
