Slick Scenario seeking success in the Corona Dual Distance Trophy – Heat 3 at Nottingham
The third heat of the Corona Dual Distance Trophy will get hosted by Nottingham over 305 metres flat on Monday, 7th May. Competing in the race that carries £125 prize money are Droopys Cinders, Slick Scenario, Frankbrunosbro, Foxy Red, Gold Finch
and Old Fort Chief.
Slick Scenario, Swords Prince’s two-year-old black son out of b***h, Malbay Melia, is a very lightly raced hound. He ended third in the seasonal debut on 2nd January at Nottingham over 305 metres.
Bit View Micko won the race after concluding the distance in 18.06 seconds.
His training was on 28th February at Romford over 400 metres which he mastered in 24.42 seconds.
The training served the purpose that it was meant for as the two-year-old won the next two races that came his way. On 5th March, he won a 305 metres race at Nottingham by reaching the other end of the wire in 18.45 seconds. He led the runner
up of the race, Teena Marina, by a short head’s difference.
His second career success was in the Betfred Maiden Sprint Trophy on 12th March at Nottingham over 305 metres. The 7/4 favourite of the race, Slick Scenario, was through the track distance in 18.29 seconds and took charge by a mere neck’s difference.
Finishing the closest to the winner was Cavecourt Derry, who reached the other end of the wire in 18.31 seconds.
Head Iton Lyndon settled third behind the winner.
On 19th March, K. Allsop trained Slick Scenario was declared unraced in the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy at Nottingham over 305 metres. The race was won by Rathanny Kate who raced through the wire in 18.47 seconds and led the runner up, Caribbean
Gem, by 2 ¼ lengths.
The 6/4 favourite of the race, Bradgate Star, settled third.
23rd April saw him getting drilled over 305 metres at Nottingham, a distance that he got going for himself in 18.02 seconds.
Being entered as the 3/1 favourite in the Betfred Goals Galore Gents Standard, he bagged the race after racing for 30.48 seconds. The race was held at Nottingham over 500 metres on 30th April.
University Man finished the closest and was soon followed by Oneco Talent.
He has all the chances of claiming the race today.
