Slideshow editing using microsoft office powerpoint...how do you...?

ok, you know how you can put a picture of something on a background that looks like a frontpage of a newpaper, with the headline and all? i was wondering if you could do that on microsof office powerpoint...can you? if so, please explain how

The easiest way would be to scan or find a picture that you like. Then use Format > Background.
