Slight problems with vaginal odor?

I'm 18 and have been having s*x for almost 3 years,always using a condom and my boyfriend was a virgin as well so I know it's not an std. I never have an usual discharge or anything like that(except during menstrual cycle) so i'm almost certain it's not a yeast infection or vaginal infection but I have no idea what it is. I'm a very clean person, I shower every day and yet it still happens.I've had this problem for years. I have no idea what it is or why it happens but it smells horrible. Any ideas?

could be bacterial vaginosis, a bacterial infection.  it is not an STD, and happens when the vaginal environment is disrupted.  it is not seen in virgins, despite not being an STD.

see a doctor.
