when i chew on food for the last 2 days i sometimes get a very slight pain between the 3rd and 4th tooth at the back of my mouth.

the pain is inbetween these 2 teeth, i flossed inbetween this morning and there was a slight smell to the floss. what could this be?

there isnt any pain when im not eating, and its not a 'sensitive' type pain its quite mild.

any advice appreciated on what this is! will it go away with some good hygiene or is this the start of something?

  1. Sounds like a gum infection caused by trapped food. Rinse several times a day with an antiseptic mouth wash, should clear up in a couple of days.
