Slim Subwoofers?

Question

I'm sure most of you have heard of the Pioneer and Kicker Slim Sub woofers.

I'm not aware of any other brands that makes them at the moment. If there are please tell me which ones.

Now question is, Do these woofers live up to a normal sized woofer? are there any flaws etc.

Any information on this topic would be really handy!

pretty much all the makers make shallow mount subs, but i heard the pioneer sounds the best

don't know how they handle, never used a slim sub....but memphsis is waaaay better than pioneer of kicker.

JL Audio, Kenwood , Power Acoustik and Pyle all make shallow mount woofers.

They sound good but don't quite measure up to a standard woofer. The JL Audios and the Kickers are the better ones. They do work and will produce good bass. If space is a issue they are your only option, try some.
