I got your solution but unfortunately eMachines has no updates for software and/or firmware for me to download. I've already tried. I also tried to get the firmware from the maker of this drive LiteOn but when I tried to install it I got this error message:No Match drive detected! This utility is only for slimtype combo LSC-24082KDetected drives:1-0-0-0 Slimtype combo LSC-24082KIt is the same thing right?!?Since I can't get the updated firmware/software, then should I go ahead and do the rest of what you said?
