Slingbox...?

Question

Theres an opportunity for me to get something called a Slingbox. It allows you to watch TV from your cable box on your PC. I'm not sure how it works but for anyone who has it can you let me know if its worth it...?

I have one and it's great for watching you home cable or DVR while traveling.  I'm able to watch sports that I otherwise couldn't while traveling.

You need high speed internet on both ends.

Mine is one of the orig - so showing large screen looses quality - hard to read scores etc., but well worth it.

Good for the traveler - not for daily viewing of everyday programs.

I don't have one but I've heard great things about it. You hook it up to a TV signal, cable box, satellite, vcr, or dvr and to the Internet. Then you can watch your components from anywhere with a highspeed Internet connection, be it another room, another town, or another country. It depends on a fast Internet connection at both ends though.
