Slip The Genie likely to thrive in Night Of The Stars Novice 750
Since debuting in February, Slip The Genie has proved her class in almost all the major formats of the game. Now, she is keen to make some glaring marks in the OR one. For this purpose, the McLaughlin trained brindle b***h will apply her utmost stamina and
talent to seal top spot in the Night Of The Stars Novice 750 that is set to go down at Shelbourne Park on Thursday night.
The €350 open race will be run over 750 yards. Slip The Genie will break from Trap 4 to take on five competitors.
The challenge is going to be tough for her, but she has all the guts to cope with it.
The distance is new for her as she has never run so longer. Some analysts opine that this thing can prove to be somewhat disturbing to the b***h, but her trainer is satisfied with her skills and preparations.
The brilliant b***h has a number of podium finishes to her name. After breaking her maiden with an A3 victory on May 2, she won the Sales@igb.ie A2 Dual Distance Semi-final on July 18. In between, she registered a runner-up position and a couple of thirds.
The daughter of Blackstone Gene out of Westmead Aoifa nicely gained third spot in the Follow Us On Facebook A1 525 of October 13. She earned immense applause by winning the SIS Live A1 550 on 17th.
In her maiden OR contest, she stood third. That was the SIS Live Open 600, held on October 27. It is hoped that the maverick sprinter will be able to achieve the ace title tonight. If she manages to do so, it will be a milestone in her career.
However, she will have to be wary of Old Hollow Jack who can give enough tough time to her.
The Scully trained black dog elegantly won an A1 race each in August and September. He is also looking for an OR triumph.
Thus, an awe-inspiring clash is imminent between the b***h and dog. Let us enjoy it and see who manages to thrive. Good luck to the both.
