Slip covers for dining chairs?

Hi,

I am a college student and I just bought a good yet cheap dining table. The only problem is that the chairs look really worn down. I was thinking about making slip covers so that they don't look bad.

It doesn't have to be all fancy with a bow and everything but something that covers up the entire chair.

I would really appreciate all the help you can give me.

Go to your local fabric store when they have a sale and buy vinyl covered fabric. I hope you can use a sewing machine. Measure the chair dimensions and sew the chair cover with this material. Good thing about vinyl is that it's durable and stains can be wiped off with any regular cleaner spray.
