Slipper Orchid determined to break maiden in Costello Tavern Handicap
The M. Halford trained novice filly Slipper Orchid’s runner-up rank in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden was worthy enough as it boosted up her morale greatly. She will surely capitalize on this form to break her maiden in the
Costello Tavern Handicap that is scheduled to be held at Tipperary racecourse on Thursday, August 23. The high-stakes Irish contest over 7 furlongs and 100 yards will commence at 6:50 (GMT).
The three-year-old young and enthusiastic filly will face seven strong rivals on the heavy track. If wins, she will walk away with the cash prize worth €5,865.
The brilliant daughter of Verglas out of Lahiba debuted on July 15, 2012, finishing 3rd against a dozen of rivals in the Family Funday At Fairyhouse Maiden. She went on to get another third during the same month.
