do anyone have any idea on whice boot besides columbia brands is good in icey condtions? i recently bought a pair, of the columbia brand , they are good but in snowy conditions, as i fell and hurt my self in the icey condtions, seems they have know traction on ice.. i live in a apartment complex and the maintance men did not put down salt that day it was more ice than snow, so i figured wearing my boots would aid in the traction, but it did not i fell flat on my behind, so if anyone have any boot brand suggestions i will be glad t have them, thanks..

  1. Try getting a pair of CRAMPONS in a sporting goods store. They are pull on-cleats that you slip over your shoes.  They go on and off in a minute and fold up into a small package. People use them for walking on icy areas or climbing glaciers. They are about $20.
