Most of the communities in India (such as Bengali), are succumbed in 'Culture of Poverty'(a theory introduced by an American anthropologist Oscar Lewis), irrespective of class or economic strata, lives in pavement or apartment. Nobody is at all ashamed of the deep-rooted corruption, decaying general quality of life, worst Politico-administrative system, weak mother language, continuous absorption of common space (mental as well as physical, both). We are becoming fathers & mothers only by self-procreation, mindlessly & blindfold. Simply depriving their(the children) fundamental rights of a decent, caring society, fearless & dignified living. Do not ever look for any other positive alternative behaviour (values) to perform human way of parenthood, i.e. deliberately co-parenting of those children those are born out of ignorance, real poverty. All of us are being driven only by the very animal instinct. If the Bengali people ever be able to bring that genuine freedom (from vicious cycle of 'poverty') in their own life/attitude, involve themselves in 'Production of Space’(Henri Lefebvre), at least initiate a movement by heart, decent & dedicated Politics will definitely come up. - Siddhartha Bandyopadhyay, 16/4, Girish Banerjee lane, Howrah-711101, India.
Why are reserved classes like SC, ST, OBCs are not asking __% reservation for their candidates in Indian cricket team?
Perhaps, one of the most epidemic problem with we Indians is that: when we say "Our Politicians looted India:, we do never try to emphasize the word 'Indians'. For example, why dont one write the same sentace like this:"The Indian citizens who are 'professionally' politicians looted their own motherland:India". Shamefully, we have the culture of criticizing other fellowmenn. It seems that nobody is ready to give up this habbit. Finally, we can say, Indian society is corrupted.
2nd independence against corruption is must. Our politicians irrespective of parties looted India multiple times than the British. I wish these politician atleast if they allow the huge amount, alloted every year for the development of wards for the councilor, MLA and MPs, without any corruption India's standard of living will be for better than any other developed nation. Top leaders they never change. Only with our unity WE CAN change. There is Training Academy for IAS and IPS and disciplinary committee in all social organaisation. Only in Politics without any administrative experience or training, no fear for penal attraction, they are spoiling the nation's wealth at large. We should create moral or fear that they will be stoned to death, if they are not ethical or national conscious. Again I wish all the elected members are to be paid at par with their level like deputy collectors and collectors to lead a good life. Lets pray god will give great courage for our people either to fight or digest.
