The manager has been widely expected to take over from Jupp Heynckes as the Bavarian giant’s boss at the end of the current campaign, but is concentrating on helping his team win some silverware this season.
Hannover coach Mirko Slomka has confirmed that he is fully focused on delivering success to the Bundesliga outfit, amidst rumours stating that the German is tipped to replace Jupp Heynckes as the trainer of Der FCB.
The 45-year-old has transformed the German club. The AWD Arena side have gained the reputation of one of the top teams in the division under the current tactician. Moreover, they have also secured European qualification for the
last two campaigns.

The former Schalke coach stated there has been no official offer for his services, but admitted that he understands why the news is spreading. He added that this speculation is fuelling as both his and Heynckes’ contracts will
run out at the end of the season.
"Let's be clear: there is no offer from another club. But the speculation is understandable, since both mine and Heynckes' contracts are running out," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
He further said that he is in talks with the club over a contract extension. He suggested that he wants to win the league title with Hannover, even though Dortmund and Bayern are favourites to claim the Bundesliga this term.
"We are in good discussions [over a contract renewal]," he added.
"I want to achieve the highest as a coach. I want to win the title, it's my drive," Slomka revealed.
"It feels like fourth place is something we've already done. I want to hold up the title from the balcony of City Hall," he finally concluded.
Slomka conceded that he wants to win silverware to enhance his coaching credibility and said that a fourth place finish is something that he has already achieved.
