However, the former Schalke manager is targeting a finish in the top six at the end of the season as he wants to secure a place in Europe.
“Nine draws are nothing to be proud of. We always play to win. Draws do not satisfy us, we want to win games. We want to cement seventh place and edge up towards the top six,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The Reds will next take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 in their next clash in the Bundesliga on Friday. Nuremberg boss Dieter Hecking stated that it will be a tough game as the opposition has been very strong in the home games so far this season.
He hailed the quality of the opposition but hopes for a good result in the next game.
“Seventh place is a very good position for them in my eyes, but the expectations are so high after their great season last year and they are suffering a little because of this and you could see that in their last few games of 2011.
I think Hannover are a side who will always be finishing between seventh and 10th,” he added.
Hannover’s star striker Didier Konan will not be available for the clash as he is currently on international duty for Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations.
