On a 24" sewer pipe are several manholes. Manhole #7 is at Sta. 10 + 77.14. Downhill from manhole #7 is manhole #8 at Sta. 8 + 50.02. The IE of MH-7 is 115.76. The slope between the two manholes is 3.80%. What is the IE of manhole #8?

    3.8 % slope = 0.038

    slope = rise/run

    0.038 = (115.76 -  x) / (1077.14 - 850.02)
