Slot cars?

I want to do slot cars, where do I start?

scale?

36 scale have great detail, and are really cool. but they can cost over 100 bucks each! and take up lots of room to run.

the 96-ho scale cars are much more affordable. something you can do at home.

Decide on which scale according to available tracks and clubs in your area ,common scales are 1/24, 1/32, 1/64-h.o..  the larger the car the more money you need ,then just talk to fellow racers, learn what you can and be prepared to be at the rear of the field until you put your time in at the track(s)..practice,practice,practice....... more you know,the faster you go...have fun,...BIG AL...DAYTON SLOT CAR RACING CLUB.
