  1. try to delete some applications that you do not use. best thing is to reboot the computer

  2. Check what programmes you have loading up when your computer boots up, you can disable programs you don't want starting by clicking on Start and then Run and typing in MSCONFIG goto Start-Up and turn off all un-needed programs which to be honest will be most of them. Also make sure you only have 1 firewall running and 1 virus checker if you have multiple set up you can get conflicts that will cause computer problems.

  3. I would recommend windows onecare, use the 90 day free trial while you decide whether you are going to renew your old security suite

Do the 'tune up' option after you have downloaded, it may sort out a few problems :)

  4. try some good tweaking utility like tune-up utilities 2008

  5. here are something you can do:

    1. close some programs

    2. get rid of wireless and use a ethernet cable

    3. upgrade your processor

    4. upgrade your RAM

    5. get a new computer

    6. uninstall programs you dont need

    7. if your ISP gave you a program its more likely your internet

will work without it so uninstall the  program (if any)

    8. disk defragment

    9. use CCleaner

    10. if its the same email me

    and reboot

  6. my computor did the same thing   unplug it from the modum for about 5 minuts and restart it   it should work

  7. defragmenting. and disk clean up, usually makes my computer go faster
