Question:

Slow DVR only on HD Channels?

When I use the DVR to watch or record regular channels everything is fine, but when I switch to a HD channel the DVR becomes increadibly slow. If I pause the channel, it seems to run a little faster, but still very slow. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the amount of memory being consumed by the HD. I've also noticed that if I record a bunch of shows in HD, that it can only record very few. It will maybe save only about 5 show max If I record regular channel show it can record over 20 shows. Why is this DVR running so slow? Please don't give me silly answers like it's the remote or the batteries. Those answers will get an immidiate thumbs down.

  2. Yup, recording in HD takes a lot of space on your DVR. Playing those recorded HD shows should not be slow though.
