Slow internet loading?

Question

Ever since i switched to my new computer, i have been experiencing extremely slow internet page loading. Sometimes the page wont load at all. My download speed is not affected at all. Only the page loading. Are there drivers i need? and is it better to use the onboard internet connection or a network card? i have tried both and both have the same problems. My ping in games are also a bit higher than normal.

Are you running Windows Vista? I have seem times on Vista where the screen seems to freeze for a while and do nothing. Then a few minutes later it will finish loading. I would recommend downloading Firefox (www.mozilla.com) or Safari (www.apple.com) Good Luck.

There are so many things this could be!

First try unplugging the power from the router (not the wall, from the router itself) for a few seconds to reset it.

Second, call your ISP tech support and make sure all your DNS settings are right for their service.  

Run a spyware scan just for chuckles with Adaware or Spybot.  Ya never know - sometimes new computers come with alot of junk on them - depending on where you got it.
