Having beaten http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 in their group fixtures, the Proteas have qualified for the tournament’s last eight. Both those matches were played at Hambantota, where the conditions tend to assist the fast bowlers more than most other Asian grounds.

where the pitch is more in the spinners’ favour, offering them turn and bounce.
Steyn is not too fazed though and expressed that his side outclassed the Poms in their recent tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c749, where the pitches were also on the slower side.
"After playing in England on the slow decks I think we adjusted our game quite nicely there. So, if we go to Colombo it won't hit us as a train smash," said Steyn.
The fast bowler from Phalaborwa is one of the world’s fastest, and will not compromise on his pace in the Super 8 fixtures as well.
He mentioned, "My game is not going to change, I'm still going to bowl 145 kilometres per hour or 150, whatever I can get it up to. whether it's a slow deck or not, it's still going to be tough."
The 29-year-old cricketer has so far played 57 Tests, 66 One Day Internationals and 25 T20s for South Africa, picking up more than four hundred scalps at the game’s ultimate stage. In order to prolong his Test career, the speedster is not always selected
in the Proteas’ limited-over squad.
"One of the main reasons I don't play a lot of International T20 cricket is purely because of the amount of other cricket that I play," the fast bowler added.
