CSKA Moscow head coach, Leonid Slutsky, has wished Real Madrid’s Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola all the very best, following their possible departure to Chelsea FC and Bayern Munich this summer.
“I cannot say how the move will affect Mourinho, it’s hard to say. However, he will return to a place at which he is valued and respected. Where he achieved a lot and established a base in order to achieve success.
He had a good understanding with the owner of the club and he built a quality team back then.
“I think Guardiola will find it difficult to coach Bavaria because the level of expectation of the club has increased in recent years due to the club’s phenomenal success rate in domestic and European front,”
The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Mourinho is set to quit the Madrid-based club after failing to win silverware this season. The defending league champions failed to retain the domestic title, were denied a chance to reach the UEFA Champions
League and Cop del Rey final this season.
