Small, raised,red, tender bump inside my v****a... what is it?

Just on the inside of my v****a (about an inch above and to the left of my clitoris), I have a raised bump of skin. It is neither a pimple nor an ingrown hair, and it is very, very, very tender and sore.

I tried squeezing it to pop it, but it hurt so badly for about thirty seconds and failed to pop it. What is it? Is it anything to be worried about?

Bartholin gland cyst. Very common. It will eventually come to a head and pop.
