I am just wondering, are there any small unique restaurants in downtown Toronto that is worth a try? Even a small place for dessert or a snack?

Thanks.

  3. Go to the St. Lawrence Market,  Front and Jarvis Streets:  http://www.stlawrencemarket.com/shopping...

  4. I ama former chef and worked in the downtown area, if your into Spanish food there is a place at Yonge and Wellsley called Segovia, a nice natural based Indian restaurant on Wood St east of Yonge at College.

I worked for a short time at Barberians on Elm St, they are a bit pricey but are place to see in the area, and Le Commesal at Elm and Bay, it is a all you can eat vegetarian place, and there is the Bangkok Garden just behind the Chelsea Inn.

  5. Drinks and app's - go to Panarama.  It's on the 52nd floor of the Manulife building at Bay & Bloor.

Mediterranean food - go to Richlee's on Avenue road.  It's small and out of the way, but the food is great.

Seafood - go to Rodney's on King.  Laid back atmosphere with great oyster bar.

Anything on the waterfront for atmosphere!
