Hows it going Im trying to start a website for my family run small business and I was wondering If I should register with GoDaddy or Yahoo Domains.

Yahoo and GoDaddy are good options. I would encourage you to take a look at several options to select the best match for your needs. There are literally thousands of options in hosting. I would recommend Godaddy because they have really good customer service. They won't build your site for you but they are a great resource. Everyone has their own opinion, just try a service and if you don't feel comfortable move. Don't make your decisions on price alone!
