Question:

Small Dust "Bunnies"...?

I've noticed that every summer we seem to get these very tiny bugs that I first noticed in the bathtub. Now I'm noticing theme everywhere. They don't appear to bite, they just fly around. The only way I can best describe them would be that they are around the size of a fruit fly, their body looks fluffy and gray, like what a dust bunny would look like and they have small wings. Does anybody know what these things are?

  1. None of my insect books give any reference to dust bunnies with wings.  If they first appeared in the bathroom they may be attracted to the moisture.  If you have any wet areas or rotting wood you may eliminate them by taking care of that problem.  Otherwise my only suggestion is to check all your screens for holes.
