Small Engine Repair, if after removing the spark plug and oil comes out, is the engine any good?

  1. Lay plug wire aside and place thumb or finger over spark plug hole. turn engine as fast as you can and see if there is any compression.

    It should pop your finger off.


  2. usually not this either means the rings are broken in it or there's hole in the piston,you can tear it down and see for sure whats causing this to happen to it,a good inspection will quickly tell you,good luck.

  3. Piston ring needs to be replaced more than likely. It could be the piston itself or the cylinder as well.  

  4. should check your fuel oil mixture maybe using too much oil.
