Small & Exotic Animal Lovers group needs help getting more members!?

Question

Does anyone have any ideas as to how we can get more members for our Yahoo group? Its a group for people who own small and exotic animals as pets. Right now we have 8 members and we talk a lot (sometimes a couple hundred posts a week) but it would be nice if we had more members. Here is my group link:

Any ideas how to get more members? We do a monthly photo contest which is fun and we share TONS of pics. I just cant think of anything to get more members!

Have you tried asking breeders if you can advertise your group on their website? Or even ask them to join. There are probably a lot of enthusiasts near you, put up a flier at local pet stores, or even grocery stores.
