I'm looking for small stepper motors. There will be a disc of weight no more than 10 gram on the shaft. So, the main criteria for selection are high speed, low (audible) noise, low power consumption, small size.
I guessed a small bipolar would do, so literally hacked into an old 3.25" floppy drive and used the small stepper motor in that. It worked well.
Anyone know a manufacturer for such motors? I'm in India, but sourcing it from Asia should not be a problem. Need about 500 motors in the beginning and if all goes well, would need 2000 later.
