  1. If you hop on the DART (Dublins train) you can just travel up and down the rail effortlesly, starting at Bray, sea side town, amusements, beach, sea world, shopping, and a lovely walk up Bray head. Then next is Killiney, nothing much there except an awesome beach! Then is Dalkey (a heritage town apparently) some small shops, a castle and heritage centre, and you can hop on a boat out to Dalkey island. Dun Laoghaire is not too bad for shopping, has nice places to eat, a maritime museum, a lovely walk along Dun laoghaire pier. Or it has the hss boat out to Hollyhead. Blackrock has various shopping, and the market isnt too bad. Then Dublin city has loads of stuff, guinness storehouse, various museums, shopping etc etc Im sure you know. Then Clontarf has a deadly dracula museum but not much else. Dont know whats out the northside but I do know Howth is a lovely little harbour town, loads of places to eat (beshoff bros!!) it has a transport museum, and you can go on a lovely walk around Howth up to its summet.

  2. black rock i dont no but swords has a few good clubs, pubs and restaraunts if your going there check out the plaza chinese restaraunt cool place and at the weekends its pretty cool night opens till around 4 am also your not far from the city centre and there is a few beaches near like malahide, portmarnock, howth, dollymount i could keep going.

  3. Swords is good for shopping & some good pubs OK but isn't on the dart line. Malahide & Howth are great little villages not a whole lot to do or see but good pubs & restaurants. Lots to do in & around the city as well so you shouldn't be bored.

Try & get a weekly travel ticket that will cover you for Bus, Dart & Luas as buying these for single trips can be can be expensive.

    Have fun.....
