  1. Well there may not be an obvious above the floor leak, but certainly you have a problem.

I'd pull the toilet first, check and replace the wax ring, using one with a rubber flange embedded, DRY the floor, check the sub floor for damage, unless you're on a slab, also check the location of the toilet inlet plumbing. Wall/Floor.

Without an exact detail about what type of tile, Ceramic/Vinyl, both/either are already being degraded, and should be pulled.

    Just my two "sense"

This sounds like the toilet sits on a slab, but if not, certainly you have water intrusion below the sub floor, to a ceiling or basement.

  2. Try aiming better !!!!!

  3. You may have the plastic tubing that was recalled (Quest ). it was in a class action suit because of problems like yours. A lot of homes built in the 80's had it.

  4. possibly a leak in the water supply to the toilet, especially if it comes up through the floor. if water supply comes through wall, see if wall\floor is damp in the area. if there is a ceiling, basement, crawlspace under the floor you would be able to see water or water stains at least. unfortunately, you are going to have to pull up the floor in the area, if the water is not coming from around wax ring.

  5. 1.  Turn off the water.

    2.  Drain all the water possible out of the toilet

    3.  Take the two nuts off the bottom of the unit at the floor.

    4.  Pull the toilet off and set it somewhere where the water can't drain out, put it on a hard surface somewhere on some towels or something.

    5.  Pull the wax ring out of the hole.

    6.  Check to make sure the surface area smooth and has no blips to make it leak

    7.  Go shopping for a waxring that has an inside to it.  Make sure it has a sleeve that will go down into the hole and direct all the water into the sewer.

    8. reinstall, use, check

  6. it sounds like one of two things  1 the wax seal under the toilet is compromised and needs to be replaced, very inexpensive a few dollars for material  or 2 water is coming from other place on the toilet,  for example the gasket between the toilet bowl and the toilet tank  , get down close to the toilet and than flush feel and look around closely as clear water is hard to see on toilets especially white toilets . also check the water supply connections , wipe down the toilet  with a dry coth and do the above , maybe something as simple was one of the the suggestions i have made
