Small brownish to black...

Question

insect. (i assume it is.it has a head, thorax, and abdomen) really small. it has the insect characteristics 3 legs on each side, 2 antennas, and i can't really see its mouth, again, too small. it kinda looks like a black ant cuz it has a rounded head and thorax but its body is elongated and oval shaped. but still kinda square like letter (E).

oh and it has wings that sit on his back and you only notice it when they actually move them. they seem to be coming from my carpet in my bedroom. they just keep reappearing. I just vaccumed and they keep popping up!

I took these with a camera phone so they really suck but i guess you get the idea if you have a good imagination.

It appears to be some sort of beetle. Whether is a beetle or not, insects in general reproduce quickly, and it is easy for a person with a carpet floor to become infested with bugs. If there are a lot of them, then that might be a sign to tear the carpet up and replace it... after scrubbing the floors of course, and getting rid of these little critters.
