Small business on net and home?

i want to open a small business over the internet and from home... i was planning on selling jewellery... what sort of jewellery would sell well??? and does anyone know of any reliable distributors on the internet (worldwide) or anywhere else in the UK???

I think I've got something interesting for you. My husband and I have our own company and our looking to expand it. We are looking for a few people to join us as independent contractors.

But, this is not a job opportunity, it is something we do beyond our full time jobs, as a part time. Also, I cant promise you anything right now as we have a qualification process in place.

Unique jewellery sells well, stuff that they wont see elsewhere, beaded jewellery is also very popular. charm bracelets, items they can personalise. also charactirised items, disney and hello kitty are always popular, as well as the more emo skulls and such like. It really depends on what you have skill in making, and whether you'd prefer costume or more elegant pieces. check out ebay and see what sells there, ebay is popular with people looking for handmade stuff as there is such a wide range to be seen!
