Small child caught letting the family dog to...?

Question

Children ages 6 & 8 have been thrown all over the place and probably abused emotionally or sexually, but it's unknown. They have both been caught allowing the family dog to l**k them in their privates. Not accidental, purposely removing thier clothing for the act. Both children are embarrassed when caught. Can anyone provide a website or more information on why these kids are doing this, how they came to learn it or anything else to help?

Believe me when I tell you someone has been harming them, get them help as fast as you can.

They could have got out of a bathtub and the dog was there.  It felt good so they let him do it again.  There is no telling where they learned that type of behavior from. When something feels good they generally do/ let it happen again.  Next time it happens you punish the dog and you punish the children.  That is a big no, no and let them know that it is a no, no.  Let them know what the consequences will be next time it happens and don't let the dog alone with them anymore.

Can't give much help to you but I can relate.  I had family friends that were small children around the same age doing the same thing.  They were also sexually and physically abused as well as neglected.  Sad but true.  They would also l**k the dogs back.  Good luck to you!!!  I am sorry for your situation but make sure they get professional help and for now keep those animals away from them.  

P.S. I remember asking one of the boys why he did this and he said someone had told them it was natural.  I think they had seen this with humans and thought it to be ok with animals as well.

This is not normal and to me, it IS an indicator of prior sexual abuse and who knows what else.  Call CPS/DCFS...whatever child protection agency there is in your area.  They will be able to properly interview and examine these children and get to the bottom of it, as well as offer resources for therapy/counseling.  

The abusers need to be identified so that the children will be protected from them in the future.

It's a natural thing like candy. When children learn that something feels good, they usually continue to do it unless told other wise REPEATEDLY. And them being embarresed probably has to do with them being caught doing something they may think is bad, just as if you would have caught them eating sweets before dinner. All I can recommend is for you to cement the idea that your privates are esentially yours and no person or thing should be allowed to come near them. I hope this helps you in your situation

Kids are curious but it sounds to me like they have seen TOO MUCH and have been exposed to sexual activity. I know someone personally that let their dog l**k them as a young child and they were exposed to alot. Sounds to me like somebody needs to keep c**p behind closed doors!

For kids to go to those measures they would have had to been through some type of abuse.....kids that age don't know to take there clothes off and allow the dog to l**k them there....start the counseling asap...in the mean time here are some sites...
