Question:

Small crack on windshield on car to be used for NJ DMV ROAD TEST?

A stone hit the bottom part of my windshield today, and caused a crack about 7 inches from the base on the drivers side. It in no way obstructs my view, however, I am retaking my DMV ROAD TEST tommorrow and was concerned that the evaulator would reject my car for the road test. If the crack is not in my direct line of vision, can I still use my car to take the test?

  1. i highly doubt they'll let you use it . sorry man.

  2. This is the way that the New Jersey laws reads...............

A windshield that meets federal safety requirements (effective until Nov. 1, 2006).

I would say that if the crack does not restrict your view, you will be okay and good luck on the test......
