  1. well smaller means bigger. WRONG!!!! i have both of those the biggest thing i have ever pulled out is a 5oz. smallmouth and nothing bigger they have a chance on working for trout but not bass if you want bigger bass go with a sizo or two bigger.sorry to ruin your day now but its better than ruining your fishing trip. i might be wrond we might live in different states or fish in different ponds but who nows. send me a im if it acually works and where you fished. hope it all goes well and catch the big one.

  2. try try in about six foot deep water around brush, snags, and fallen trees with the spinner this is a great way to catch largemouth bass

  3. those lures should work. when relling in your line, jerk your pole to tease the fish. a paanther martin #1 will catch you a bass too. www.panthermartin.com

good luck. let me know if you get one!

  4. Those are two good baits that will catch a bass. But you need water that is fairly clean to fish the lures- just in case there is a lot of grass in the lake, you may want to bring a few senko type lures and fish them in the grass and the edges of the grass-  rig them weedless and weightless = cast them out and slowly use the rod tip to twitch them back in - slow movement of the lure is the key here- when you feel a resistance that makes your line start moving, drop the rod tip and slowly reel in the line slack-then set the hook hard! Enjoy your trip. Good fishing!

  5. i live in Illinois,and spinner baits aren't working right now,try a rubber worm Texas rigged.or a piggin jig
