Small engine repair?

Question

do a lot of yard work, and gets expensive having someone fix my mowers for minor problems. How do i replace a flywheel key on a briggs and stratton pushmower.

You take the gas tank;cowling,and pull starter off.In the middle of the flywheel you will see a large bolt with a washer under it.Take it out( you usually have to block the flywheel from turning to do so)  and there is the key (a shiny silver piece of alluminium.Then take 2 pry bars or a flywheel remover and pry the flywheel straught up (some times you have to put the bolt back in parcialy and give it a rap but be careful since this is the crankshaft(thats if you don't have a flywheel puller))0
