Small green bugs on my impatients?

I have my impatients inside and by a window cel. I noticed small green bugs so I put them outside When i went out next time there were soooooooo many flys . Eating them? and what are these green bugs and how did they get inside?

  1. Just go to Home Depot or Lowes and get an insect spray. yes they are harmful in the long run. However if you also see ants on the same plant, then don't worry, they'll take care of the problem.


  2. They are aphids.  They suck the "juice" from your plants and can cause damage to your plant.  They can come as eggs with the plant, or get in through open windows.  You can get an aphid dust to kill them, or get some ladybugs to eat them. Ladybugs love them.
