Small home based business opportunity in Philippines?

I want to start a small home based business for my wifes mother who lives in the philippines. We are thinking of something simple like bread making or a small chicken business. Does anyone have any experience of this, or any ideas what is a good original idea.

It does not have to be a road to millions, just a way to make a good living.
