You spend a lot of time outdoors and do not wear hats or sun glasses. Are your eyes clear, shinny and healthy? Do they ever get red as a result of long sun exposure?. Please let me know your outdoor activity and age.. Thanks a lot.

P.S personally my eyes look and feel better in sunny hot days.

  1. i only wear a hat when its cold and sunglasses rarely

    no probs with my eyes

    i mainly camp and hike

  2. I don't often wear hats, but I do wear sunglasses, depending on the activity.  However, if I'm camping I usually don't have sunglasses on because there is a lot of shade.  My eyes do tend to get red, but that could be because I wear toric contact lenses so they don't always get to breath well.

  3. I constantly wear hats and sunglasses, so it has nothing to do with camping really. But not everyone is not like me. If you don't usually wear shades and hats, there's no need if your comfortable just cuz your camping. But there are several exceptions. Water can sometimes intensify light, so if your camping on lakes or other large water, you may need shades. If you are camping in a snowy enviroment on sunny days, shades are almost a must, you actually go "Snow Blind". Also, if you are camping in very hot enviroments, you will need a hat to help shade your head/neck area, and maybe shades also. Bottom line,if you are preparing to go into wilderness or other serious enviroments, you should always be prepared as possible for anything, including the need for hat and shades. They are not too large or heavy to take along just in case......

P.S....if you have pretty eyes, ditch the shades as much as possible!!!

  4. I never wear any of that stuff i hate how it feels. My eyes are healthy as can be. They have never got red.

  5. Are you STILL asking this?

Wearing a hat can help prevent skin cancer over the long run, keeps the sun out of one's eyes, and helps to cool one off.

Wearing sunglasses can help prevent sunburn of the eyes (like high on snow covered mountains - snowblindness), cataracts, and just make it more pleasant.

  6. I wear a hat and sunglasses. My eye are clear and shinny although my vision is terrible. I have gotten sunburned.

  7. I wear a hat 99% of the time. sun glasses the are adjustable to the light. True they are more expensive but tried and true they are the best. I always carry a pair of sun glasses for back up. I use skin lotion on a regular basis mostly on my arms as well as bug repellent. but I don't use the type that goes on my skin. I use a hand held device that is available in most sporting goods stores. By the way any one reading this let me tell you. That thing you see in the sport store or magazine and walmart that looks like a walkee/talkee is the greatest thing since power steering around 20 bucks plus extra fuel and pads it's hand held or buy the carrying case man o man. I hunt mostly Bow and arrow and allot in Florida season starts in sept. guess what it's still hot in sept. the Miskito will drive you nuts, unless you have one of these neat little devices and I own 5 of them. Hope this helps.

  8. I spend lots of time outdoors, I find that if I don't wear sunglasses when I'm on the water or out in the sun I get tired quicker. When I'm under the canopy (tree tops) I don't wear them. As for the hat - oh YEAH I wear one it helps me see better with the sun glasses....
