I found a small skinny white worm (no more than an inch) with a red head on the table in my kitchen today. We know it's not a caterpillar. Could it be from outside (we were bbqing)? Help in identifying it?

  1. i belive it is a waxworm

  2. Next to impossible to identify.  The "red head" you refer to is the face.  The mouth parts are made of carotene and most grubs and larvae have them and they are usually yellow to orange.  To identify you need the details of the mouth parts as well  as the legs (you can see the six legs can't you)

  3. hahahahahahaha a p***s named tina.

  4. sry idk. maybe a maggot

  5. Oh, I thought you meant you wanted help naming it. I was going to suggest Tina...? (You know, a lil somethin for the s**y red-head)

  6. Sounds like a moth larvae.  Sometimes they're found in kitchens because they like things like cereal, bread, pasta, rice.. etc.

Check around to make sure you don't have anymore.

  7. Its probably a pinworm.

  8. Lucy?
