Small town in Ireland??

i was previously looking at a little cottage for sale in ireland...the backyard was a canal. I forgot the name of the little city. Anyone know of any small towns in ireland this might be??

there are LOADS of small towns in EVERY county in Ireland...can you give anymore details and is it definatly in a city?

i dont think you understand the amount of small towns in ireland with canals running through them. im sorry but maybe if you knew which county it was even in we'd be able to help you moree

Possibly you were looking at a old lock keepers lodge ..

say "Royal Canal" or the "Grand Canal" to mention the two larger canals. Google ..say maybe  IRISH CANALS
