Small v8 drag boat lost on lake meed?

does any one have any info on a drag boat with a vary small v8 in it that sunk on lake meed it was some type of motorcycle based v8 i think!

  1. Actually your question is tough to answer due to the fact that many boat races have been held there over the years. Many of these boats wrecked,flipped or just plane sank. But, there is no such thing as a "motorcycle" v8. Motorcycle engines are either 2 stroke or four stroke, and usually have a max of 2 cylinders, not 8. Although v6 and v8 motors have been adapted and installed in a few custom motorcycles, they were car engines, not motorcycle engines.

    UPDATE: OK, so I have learned something new, there were apparently some specialized custom made motors based on a type of motorcycle engine where they "adapted side by side motorcycle casings to add cylinders, not a production motorcycle  engine. I even saw a custom motorcycle where they adapted two Harley V twin motors into 1 bike. The rest of my answer remains the same.

    Oh and a V8 motorcycle, wow who made that, I never saw one. Accept on the drag strip.
