Question:

Smart card not authorized?

hi i woke up today and both tvs with foxtel are sayin that the "smart card is not authorized" this is wierd as they were running fine yesterday and weeks before that, b4 we call foxtel i was wondering if any of u guys had any ideas?

  1. I am not sure if this will work but give it a try the Power Reboot.

    1. Switch off the power from FOXTEL Set-top Unit at the power point.

    2. Wait for 60 seconds and then reconnect the power to the STU. All lights should be illuminated when the power is reconnected which indicates the reboot process is going through.

    3. Wait for a single red light. Then press either the FOXTEL or STANDBY buttons on the remote control.

    4. On your TV you should see a message: "F102 - Searching for Listings...Please wait". The FOXTEL Help channel will appear shortly.

    5. Press the FOXTEL  button on your remote control  to return to the FOXTEL Service, and select your preferred viewing channel in the normal way.

    If you are still experiencing problems, contact the FOXTEL Service Centre on 131 999.
