Smart mice eating the bait, and trap failing to snap to often?

I have smart mice in my house, and at the moment i'm trying to trap them all. Unfortunately I have only had about a 30% success rate, I have caught 2 so far, but most of the time went I check up on my traps, I find out a mouse been there and has taken or just licked off the bait without unsetting the trap. I use Bread mixed with Peanut butter, and I make sure I tie the bread to the trigger, but they still find a way to steal the bait without getting trapped. I noticed if I just use peanut butter they seem to carefully l**k it off without setting off the trap, or seems that way.

I do place my traps against the walls and it hotspots as recommended. So how can I be sure the trap will snap when a mouse goes for the bait?

  1. There is a new trap by the VICTOR COMPANY. It is a electric "ZAP" kill machine powered by batterys.batteries last about 50 kills.

It kills both rats and mice .

I had the same trouble  .....little mice eating off the traps and not getting caught.

I got this trap about two weeks ago and the mice are now gone. Trap Caught one after another.

Stop wasting your time---this ones worth the money and will do the job.

  2. F&*#k mice and rats. The more brutal the killing method the better! Disease bearing little parasites!

  3. It may seem cruel to kill the mouse. If you do catch them live and don't release them far from the house they just come back. I painted a squirrels tail white and drove a mile away and it returned.
