Smart phone question and help! =)?

I have a palm centro and i LOVE it! but, I know how to put songs on my phone, how do i make a song my ring tone? thanks for the help! =)

i would go to itunes or something and record the song at ur fav part then set as ringtone

I can do this with my songs, but I'm not quite sure how.

I just download the songs to my phone music player, and then they're automaticly in my ringtones. It's odd.

I have a SD card in my phone, if that makes a differencee. :]

If the song is already on your phone go to prefs, then go to sounds,

and you should see an icon that says ringers. you can use the touchscreen to make a song your ringer then.
