Smart phones- palm treo 650?

If i were to get the palm treo or any other other smart phone for that matter, does internet cost money? how much? and if it does can i disconnect the internet and have the basic functions of the cell phone still work (text, calling, voicemail).

Yes if it doesnt have internet you can still do basic function but you can open mms messages and internet costs money
