Smarty Time to steer the experience in her favour in the Sky Bet Mobile For Iphone & Android Maiden Stakes at Windsor
Windsor will become home for the Class 5 Sky Bet Mobile For Iphone & Android Maiden Stakes on Monday, 30th April over a mile, two furlongs and seven yards. The race that is offering a £2,264 purse will get contested by thirteen three-year and older runners.
Majority of the line-up comprises of quite lightly raced entries along with those who are racing their career debuts. Calico Cat, Mellor, Sporting Gold and Swnymor are the candidates who will be racing for the first time.
None of the entries have raced at Windsor before.
The most experienced at racing during the new season is Smarty Time, Almaty’s five-year-old bay mare out of mare, Past ‘N’ Present. This season also marks out to be the very first season of her career that comprises of four outings. The career debut was at Newbury while all the next three starts were at Kempton.
She has been unable to post a victory till yet.
Smarty Time’s seasonal debut was in the MC Seafoods Mares’ Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race on 2nd March at Newbury over two miles and half a furlong.
The race was won by Tickity Bleue who was riding with Robert Thornton while settling as the runner up was Glorious Twelfth.
The 4/1 favourite of the race, Millie O’Brien, ended seventh on the field of fourteen while Smarty Time could only manage the twelfth position.
Her second career start was in the 32Red Casino Maiden Open National Hunt Flat Race on 17th March at Kempton over two miles which saw her improving just a tiny bit as she took up the fifth slot on the track of ten.
The race was won by the 8/11 favourite of the race, Minella Forfitness, while finishing the closest by a twelve lengths’ margin was High Ville.
On 28th March, Smarty Time was driven down to the sixth position in the Racing Plus Out Every Saturday Maiden Stakes at Kempton over a mile and three furlongs.
Splendid Light, the 8/11 favourite, was the winner of the race.
Her most recent attempt was in the Betdaq Mobile Apps Median Auction Maiden Stakes on 11th April at Kempton over a mile and three furlongs. This was the fourth failure in line as she ended seventh behind the 5/4 favourite winner, Expense Claim.
