Smear Results?!? Kinda Worried?!!!?

I just did my smear 2 weeks ago but my results have already come bk.

The doctor surgery phoned me today and told me they want to book me in for next week. They told me its not urgent as if it was, i would have been booked in for this week. She said the doctor needs to talk to me.

Does anyone know what this could be, or has been in the same position?!

without knowing your age this answer is difficult if the doctor wants to see you again go . Here is the posoibilities; the smear could have ben done incorectly and they simply need to do it again or you could have a yeast infection of some type or the bigger problem a positive result for the paploma virus whis does cause cancer. get second opinion this is unlikely. of course it depends on your age; over 50 get tested again nonw! it is not the end of the world.

well if the doctor said not to worry try not to worry...it could be anything from a yeast infection or a fibroid tumor (non cancerous) many women get those all the time some kind of infection such as hpv that is easily treatable with a round of antibiotics....dont worry dear i dont think its terminal whatever it is

Is this for a Pap smear? Don't worry. If your doctor said it wasn't urgent, it probably isn't a huge deal. Your results might just be abnormal.
