Since I was away of the country for one year, I stored my freeze with Moth Balls inside, And now cannot use the freeze! Every food I keep catches that horrible smell! Please help me out if you really know, what will really work. I have tried Vinegar, Lemons, Baking Soda-and the results are nothing. Thanks for your time.

  1. you may have to turn off the freezer at the switch, and leave the door open for a while, wash it out again with strong soapy solution, wash again with a white vinegar solution that has vanilla essence added to it, be prepared to leave the door open for up to a week, live on take aways

  2. I've had the best results from a product called Fridge It carbon odor absorbers.  Now, it wasn't for moth ball smell but still took care of pretty bad odors from fridge that also nothing else really worked either.   I had to put a couple of these in my fridge but they are pretty inexpensive and the product does work.  You can get it at Innofresh.com
